-<>-  quantum philosophy
An idea can be in two places at once.
Therefore it has infinite potentiality.
A potential idea can be accessed simultaneously by an infinite number of consciousnesses
Therefore, while there can be unique ideas, they are unclaimable.
Mind is the excess energy of the brain.
Brain dies, mind dies, universe(s) dies.
Since any actual idea is only one expression of the potentiality of its existence,
one should not make make too much of any idea, nor form an attachment to it;
nor should one form any attachment to this philosophy, nor attach any importance to it.
The only way to avoid the quantum dichotomy is to simply BE.
The fact that we are always and only ever in the present instant is the proof of the potentiality of existence.
There may be two, but there is only one presently.
Now it may be a different one, but it is still the only breath we ever breathe.
The mystery is between the inhalation and the exhalation; where are we then? Before the breath?

"The ACTUAL Universe is an infinite mass of bubbles,

our so-called 'universe' is but one of these bubbles,

 which go on without end."

QUANTUM THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH:

"I stand outside of myself, watching myself, watching myself;

I smile, I smile, I smile."

- Jack Arnold Alexander Tankred Gurney, the 14th Earl of Gurney, from The Ruling Class, 1972

====================

"Calm in quietude is not real calm.
When you can be calm in the midst of activity,
 this is the true state of nature.
Happiness in comfort is not real happiness.
When you can be happy in the midst of hardship,
then you see the true potential of the mind."

- Huanchu Daoren

The biggest disparity of all comes from attempts to unify quantum mechanics and general relativity. Under so-called quantum gravity, the energy density is 10120 times too big. "This is actually called the worst prediction that physics ever made," says Dejan Stojkovic of the University at Buffalo in New York.
